Nationalism

Was thinking about Scott Aaronson and just felt like. Ahh nobody cares about your opinions on Israel. That's not why people come to your blog. People come to my website for the tools and poetry and things I post here... and my thoughts on cultural phenomenon come with that, hand in hand. They are inextricable from the art I provide. But like. Really, all the guy's posts about Israel made me think was that I like him less than if he'd've just not said anything about it. Because now we have one more divide between us.

I think this page is the space to talk about Israel. I need some more sources before I do; what I have right now are simply many many questions. What countries closed their borders after the Holocaust, and which are outspoken proponents of the current state of Israel's existence? What does the text of the Balfour declaration say? Who was living on the land at the time? My current perception is that it really was a "let them kill each other" scenario. To date, since Oct. 7th, how many journalists have been killed? I saw a video about Christian Zionism. How does that play in?
